The White Mountain Research Station is open one day per year to the public. This one day happened to be last weekend, so I made the trek up to 12500' to see the station & the sights along the way:

The Laguna Seca Moto GP marked the first win for Italy's Valentino Rossi in the United States! Getting to watch and photograph directly from the grid with Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and other special guests was an added bonus.
