Needless to say, more than a few tries were needed to get the helmet lined up with the bridge support, and front wheel lined up with the shadow on the ground.

I went out with BMW mechanic Rick Laub and took these shots of him on the K1300S bike.

Event special guest, Laurence Fishburne, had a great time.

Hollywood stunt rider Monte Perlin was on hand doing unusual things with the K1300GT.

If you've seen the Terminator movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Monte is the guy actually riding the motorcycles.

Following the launch, I photographed one of the ultra-modern bikes, with some ultra-antique gear. In terms of resolution, the results exceed virtually any modern camera available to the general public.
